Microsoft hoists self on retarded logo

Microsoft has revealed their new logo, which you can see in the video above. I'm genuinely surprised by this - it's a very risky move, given how established the old logo is. The new one, though, is so generic that it's hard to see why they decided to go with it, other than to try to force everything to look like Windows Mobile and Windows 8 - an odd case of the company chasing its tail design-wise.
